Anthony, Take A Time Out

The following is a voicemail used by Randy Pauch quoted from his book The Last Lecture:

Hi, this is Randy. I waited until I was thirty-nine to get married, so my wife and I are going away for a month. I hope you don’t have a problem with that, but my boss does. Apparently, I have to be reachable. [he gives the names of his wife’s parents and the city in which they live] If you call directory assistance, you can get their number, and then, if you can convince my new in-laws that your emergency merits interrupting their only daughter’s honeymoon, they have our number.

Randy notes that they did not receive any calls. Some of the most useful time management tips are also the most basic. Take a time out.
